I have a 1995 Aoutomatic C4 and I just Just got the tuner cat LT1 pro tuner kit for the OBDII but everytime I try to scan for my car it says invalid port number and won’t load nothing, talked to a guy who said maybe it had something to do with the 95 being a split year for OBDI and OBDII anyone else have this problem?
usually port number is in reference to what port your computer is using to connect to the cable. If it's USB cable connected then look up what port that USB is assigned in your computer and then select that port in the software. Look at top left tab-vehicle setup. Then on selection choose the port that your computer is using.

OK, I was giving directions for Datacat. With yours go to options menu then comm port setup and select the correct port your computer assigned to where you have the cable plugged in. You can use settings then search for device manager to find your comm ports in windows. Also here's a great book to read thru since your digging into it.
