Default Nitrous 85 corvette

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone knows if I can put Nitrous/NOS on a Richmond swapped 85 corvette. I’ve always liked nitrous and wanted a car with it. Does anyone know if the engine can handle it? Thanks

How much of a NOS shot are you talking about?

If the engine is in good mechanical shape it should be able to handle a 100 shot with no problems

Back in the day, a stock 350 could handle a 150 shot. We use to put the 100 shot on 305's even the 5.0L 302 mustang boys were spraying 150 shot. Others were putting 300HP shot fogger systems on mildly built 350's.

75hp and 100hp were used by the S10 boys with the 4.3L V-6. Make sure you got good plugs and wires and a strong coil, good fuel with 93 plus octane and good compression. But 100hp should not be a problem all day long. If your mileage is over 150,000 miles i would rebuild and put good pistons and rings and head gaskets and maybe some studs, the Fords only had 4 bolts surrounded each cylinder where as the Chevy small block had 5 bolts. Good Luck...
