Backfire during idle

I’ve had an issue with my 1989 corvette backfiring at idle ever since I replaced my fuel injectors does anyone know what’s wrong? I do need a new EGR sensor could that cause it? I checked all vacuum lines and there all good and I don’t have a check engine light.

Have you checked where your timing is set and your ignition system? New fuel injectors are best served if you do a full tune up in conjunction.

yes my timing is on point. However I’m currently running a header dump until I get the money for a full exhaust could that be causing it ?

full tune up is done already new spark plugs and injectors
