Default Oil PAN REPLACEMENT SITUATION

I need help in finding an oil pan. I have a 1984 c4 with a 1986 block. There is a problem with fit and clearance at the timing cover. 1984 oil pan fits but the pump wont clear. 1986 pan wont clear the subframe in the front
Looking for advise from the experienced

If the 86 pan doesn't clear the frame at the front-first thing check your motor mounts. I had rubber mounts that wore and let the engine drop over 1/4 inch.

Are you sure you have the crank rotated to a position which allows the pan to slide under and forward? I normally try to position at TDC for #4 cylinder firing, it may help you get the forward counterweight out of the way.

You shouldn't be able to use the '84 pan on an '86 block, the '84 pan is for a 2-piece RMS and the '86 block has a 1-piece RMS!? How about a few pictures of the pans side by side and the internals of each pan. The advice above about proper crank/rod rotation should do the trick👍
