Mystery Part

Discovered this part in the bottom of the envelope which came with the car from the previous owner...

(The pen is to show scale).

'95 Coupe Base 6-Speed

Anybody recognize it ???

WAG -- looks like a mounting tab that was part of an electrical connector or sensor - most likely something on the interior. other than that, haven't a clue!

Looks like it would be a grounding point, screw goes in the ring end to metal and wire plugs into spade end....no need for insulation because it's a ground...????👍

I suppose both guesses make sense.
It's stainless steel if that helps.

and it's not even a real part..

Wouldn't doubt it. He lied about 9 things other than this in his CL ad...

To me it looks like an adjustment clamp for a cable stop (or a belt on some other machine)
