Previous owner probably didn't want to pay the $100+ for a new sensor, so i'm guessing they just threaded a plug in place of it.
Am I correct in identifying this as where the oil temp sensor would go on an L98?
I'm not even sure this is the correct wire, appears to be green/white like I believe i read is the oil temp sensor circuit. Opinions? Melted due to heat, but doesn't reach far enough down to have me convinced.
Chasing down a code 43 and generally looking to freshen up the engine. Light has said LO since I've had the car.
