water pump coupler STUCK!

water pump coupler STUCK!
OK I screwed up. I put the water pump on with the coupler pointed the wrong way. so the water pump wouldn't seat properly and i took it back off to see what i did wrong...now the coupler is very stuck on there. I tried all my various 2 jaw pullers but i cant get a good grip on it. any advice? does the drive itself just PULL out of the cam gear? i was thinking about pulling the whole shaft out...separating the two then reinstalling it.... I might be a little off beat here have you tried finding a socket and extension that would fit over the top of it and you try to give a little nudge up/down Left Right see if it unjams
