I am replacing my ignition cylinder in my 89 Corvette. This is a picture of the switch and a retaining Spring/clip. I am wondering if any of you know about the spring/clip. I think it is bent. Am I correct?
Ok to preassembled switch the white square will cover the Torx in the steering column, the little hook on the spring will hook on top the switch at it's base (end inside column) and the long running edge will run the length of the spring on the bottom. Then the open end will be pointing towards column and be ready to slide in as a unit
