Default Missing Hose

So I tore into my daughter’s 1990 corvette to change the water pump. I can’t figure out what hose goes to this. I am not sure what it even is. I think it has something to do with emissions. Can anyone help me?

It's the hose that runs from where your finger points (the A.I.R. valve body) to the catalytic converter air pipe check valve. GM part #10105319. It uses a special clamp at the bottom where it connects to the metal pipe and check valve. Highlighted in green on this photo -

Thanks for the reply. What about the other side of the AIR valve body? I think I have the hose you are talking about just on the wrong side of the AIR valve body.

In your photos above, you have the other side valve body hooked up correctly already. That side supplies the hose that tees to both exhaust manifold AIR supply pipes.

Your intake plenum and valve covers look very clean. What did you use to clean them?

I disassembled the whole top of the motor down to the long block to replace injectors, intake manifold gaskets, valve guide seals, timing chain/cover, and fifty other things on the motor. While I had all that stuff off, I had the manifold, plenum, and valve covers hot tanked, and then refinished them.
