tall valve covers

tall valve covers
Has anyone come up with a way to run tall valve covers? Are there any available or will I have to have a set modified. The alternator is in the way to get any tall ones under. Previously I would run double gaskets but they invarialbly would leak. I am building a blower motor this time so getting them to not leak will be even harder. This is on a 93 Vette.

I have a '86 Vette, and I believe I run the tallest Center-Bolt Valve Covers on the forum. (No one has told me different, and I've had them on for over three years now).
My covers are 4 inches tall, giving me plenty of room for 'roller rockers, stud girdles, and locks.'
I ordered my TALL Center Bolts from Melrose T-Top International out of Cortland, Il.. Their phone number: 815-758-2783
As I said, that was over three years ago, so you might do yourself some good by calling them, because I'm sure by now they've enhanced their program even more, since they know of the need for 'taller covers' in the performance market.
