alright where to start on this thing so car was bought with a blown engine completely locked up so we an engine out of the same year caprice slapped that nightmare in then found out hey we have a wiring harness problem with rodents so long story short this thing is a major pain in the butt. fixed the wires that i found chewed up to the fuel pump and a few others too and bypassed the security with a couple resistors. so now the car starts up and runs but only runs for at most is 10 seconds then cuts out almost seems like its cutting the fuel signal but i could be wrong. you would think "hey lets get a code out of it well either the ecu doesnt have any codes or i have a wiring problem there aswell then thats when i noticed that the check engine light isnt illuminating with the rest of the lights. currently trying to check the wiring for the communication for the ecu but it has me scratching my head alil bit as far as the information center where the codes display
so my question is HELP lol im not sure if im chasing my tail or havent discovered the problem yet

I do not have an LT1 but I do have a question if you don't mind, Is the Caprice engine the same as a corvette ?? 260 vs 300 ??
yes and no there are differences that ive noticed like the direction of the spark plug is straight instead of on an angle so you need different exhaust manifolds and the opti distributor was different but internals of the disi was the same

Dude, maybe you should consider using some periods and capital letters.(in other words, proper sentence structure). More people willing to help you out if they don't have to struggle to make sense of your post.
Get a fuel pressure gauge on the rail. That will confirm for you at least if your prob is fuel. Sounds like it might be doing the initial key-on prime, but not continuing to run the pump thereafter.
hate to say, but that may be wiring related as well.
i thought the same thing with fuel pressure cuz it almost seems like security or bleeding off the fuel i jumped the fuel pump relay same thing and tricked the security and same thing. i thought maybe the computer but everything was swapped over from the old motor all i had was a bare block intake plenum sensors ect ect. if we spray it with brake clean it will stay running as long as we are spraying so definitely seems fuel related just cant seem to figure out whats cutting the injectors
No new info to make any other guess, I still lean toward pump issue, whether it is the pump itself, relay, OP switch or elsewhere. Putting a fuel pressure gauge on it still gives you valuable info - if it still has running pressure when it quits then you know it’s not fuel related from tank up to the rail. Could then be injectors not cycling. Once fuel ruled out, I’d be looking at Opti and ICM next.
