Brake master cylinder
The fluid level sensor on the side of the 1990 brake master cylinder is it available or can it be eliminated? Have been trying to find a replacement but no luck. All advice welcome.

Easy way to tell. Unplug it and see what happens. I know on my 84 it just passed ground for the light on the dash. I installed a new master cylinder a few years ago. The new cylinder bench bled just fine and the brakes work great but that switch in the new cylinder sticks. It was a cheap cylinder from RockAuto so what did I expect I guess So I just unplugged the switch. Been that way for a year or more now.
