Went to a mechanic a while back to get new window regulators installed. Long story short they botched it and now i'm hunting for the pieces they lost. Ive been trying to find these pieces for the left side of the windows I want to buy some more and know where they go and what they do. I still cant find them and not even their names come up.
Ive got one of the rusty brackets on my passenger side but cant find those rubber pieces. Im assuming the peg is connected to the window and the bracket stops it and maybe the rubber piece stops something?? i need some help here
If you've got that one to use as a template, you could surely find a bit of metal that would bend to the same angle, drill a hole in it and bob's your uncle there. the rubber bits will be more difficult to recreate w a ball peen hammer.
The rubber piece go in the very bottom of door (about 6"back you would see the little mounting stub under door if there) gives the window something to sit on when windows down, the door **** looking thing is a window guide/stop it meets up with a piece in upper window area in front.
I might have the pads (I think I saw them in the junk drawer)or maybe so of the other parts from some doors I stripped and didn't give away when I clearing out C4 parts
You might want to give Mirrock Corvette a call in Saltsburg PA he probably has a murdered door that he can't sell and could pull together a shopping list

Just got the pieces from eBay. I cant seem to find these mounting stubs on the bottom for these rubber pieces though.
The rubber pieces are laying in bottom of door I think your car still has them, their not hard to remove or install but there kind of just there laying in bottom of not in anybody's way someone would be on a stripping mission to just remove them.
I would almost bet you can savage them from another GM vehicle
Since you're in So Cal look up pick a part. Several sites have C4s for parts and they are reasonable on prices. There are more and more parts on our cars that are only available from part outs.
