Default RPM revving
My 1990 C4 starts and idles just fine at around 3-4K, When I give her throttle, it jumps up and over 8K. Is the RPM needle stuck?

It doesn't sound like its revving loud. Any thoughts?

Sticky needle or something with gauge board is acting up.

Tach in the 90-96 have issues and will be off. You can repair yourself or send to Batee for repair or buy a used one and hope it works.

You can also buy the resistor from Batee and solder in yourself. Fairly straightforward job.
