Default Heat/A/C Controller HELP

Still Trying to fix the problem on my own...I have tried everything but dynomite!!! Could it be the controller unit? Everything displays correctly (89 Vette) Blower activates with 1-10 increments, Temp display works...i just do not get any change in temp. Have gone through all of the heater core flow travel. everything is pumping fine fluid wise. I even have pulled the controller unit apart..and checked the resistors...nothing damaged ..I am at a loss...any ideas? :banghead:

Open your hood and look on the firewall on the passenger side. There is a black plastic plenum here where the AC lines go in. On top of this plenum, there is a heat sink module with a harness attached. Remove the three 7mm screws and pull the heat sink out. Look down in this hole with a flashlight and you will see the hot/cold door. Crank the car and check the operation of this door. it should move when you change from hot/cold cold/hot. If not, then this is the problem. It would be that the resistors are bad or need resoldering (which you already checked), stuck door(pry gently), bad door control motor, or short in the wiring. When you say you checked the resistors, were you referring to the ones on the AC programmer on the firewall under the dash?

I had this same problem. The servo that opens and closes the temp door is connected using a threaded rod and a plastic piece that pinches it to keep it in place. mine got stuck on all the way hot. here is a picture of where it is in the dash.

This is with the dash off looking down from the passenger side. I was told this can be accessed from the bottom.
