Default HVAC module repair

Hello, Just finished my '96 LT4 C68 HVAC module repair. This site was extremely helpful as was the video of the removal. I eliminated the 2 piece manifold and connected the color coded vacuum lines directly together. The factory lines are very small, only 1mm ID and 1/8" OD. I used 1/4" silicone hose with 1/8" ID and slipped it over the factory lines with the help of a little vaseline and the forceps in the picture below. I was able to push the factory lines into the hose about an inch. It's very snug and probably didn't need it but I zip tied them anyway. I added 4 inches to the module and 4 inches to the supply lines. Then I installed the module and connected the hoses together with 1/8" hose barbs. It took a couple of days in very tight quarters. I removed the seat cushion and put heavy cardboard over the seat frame. I'm an almost 77 year old man. The forceps pictured were invaluable because they enabled me to clamp the small factory lines tightly without crushing them and wiggle and push the hose over them. Took it out this morning for a test drive and wow it's nice having airflow. I drove all summer without it. Now I want to remove the upper dash pad as it's starting to delaminate on the passenger side. I can't imagine a dealership mechanic doing what I just did. It took a lot of agility, patience, time and perseverance to accomplish.
