Faulty Wipers
Hey everyone.
I just got my ‘88 corvette about a month ago and I’ve fixed just about everything in the car except the wipers. For some reason, they only turn on (on high or single burst) after I’ve been driving the car for at least 30 minutes or after I hit the gas hard enough. I already tried using contact cleaner in the wiper switch and that didn’t really have any effect. I think it’s also worth mentioning that the windshield cleaner will work without an issue, and the only problem is with the wipers. I’m wondering if there might be an issue with the alternator after reading similar issues from the same model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What you're saying is the washer works but you have No Wipe, if so check all fuses. Make sure that the wires are connected that you can see If that is good then things get interesting starting with either pulling the knee pad and crash plate and make sure all is plugged in and voltage and or continuity though switch. If that is good you may need pull the wiper motor to check the main power supply at the bottom of motor.
Note!!! If you need to replace the motor the front cover
DOES NOT COME WITH NEW MOTOR so you will need to bring over and they Are Not an easy find
