Hey guys so currently just have trouble actually getting the old light bulb casing out of the housing. I think prev owner maybe used some type of glue to keep them in place? Below attached I'll put a video of what im talking about, the light bulb twisted out of place but the casing is still stuck and I can't push or twist. Any help is appreciated thanks

They get stuck over time. I just replaced every rear bulb in mine while doing a gas tank replacement. 3 of mine did exactly what you are talking about. Disconnect battery, grab a pair of needle nose pliers and get the casing with them. Push down and turn. It will eventually work its way loose. I had to give a few of mine hell but the finally released. I sprayed the empty socket with electronics cleaner afterwards and applied fresh dielectric grease.
When I removed my original ones in my 96 I broke two. You will find the factory globed in a whole bunch of a yellowish dielectric compound. Over the quarter century it has hardened. It can be cleaned out with scrappers and mineral spirits on a q tip. Dan
I just went through that while doing led's. Have the socket in your hand. Small needle pliers. And twist at the metal part of the bulb. Won't get stuck into the socket that way.
