Default 1989 code 36 advice please

Just put a new oxygen sensor in the car and it has been good but now I'm getting code 36. This points to the MAF burnoff. Does this mean the MAF is stuffed or something else?

Please advise

I recommend replacing the two relays behind the battery. One is the burn off relay, but I'm not sure which one. I was getting code 34 last year and before spending the bucks for a new MAF I tried the relays because they are cheap and easy to replace. I haven't had a problem since.

Good luck,
Ron
