Low Idle

I recently bought my 1994 base model and its started to idle very low. Im talking like 1000 rpm or less any ideas of what it could be?

the stock hot idle is supposed to be under 1000 rpm. With a big cam mine idles at 900 rpm.

1000 RPMs would be considered high.....not sure what GM set the RPMs on the later cars. Someone will chime in, but my ZR-1 idles about 850- 900 RPMs and that is considered high. What does the motor finally settle down at RPM wise??

I've always heard/read/understood that on a warmed-up engine ideal idle is 650RPMs.
