Code 42
Got this code the other morning when it was EXTREMELY cold out, like 3* with 25mph winds. Hasn't come back since. The service engine soon light came on for approximately 30 seconds when I was trying to start the car. It went out and hasn't come back on since.
I know it's for the ESC unit, but what would trigger code 42?Ideas?

Code 42 will be set if the engine is below 3000rpm and the voltage on circuit 423 is less than .5 volts. The fact that your engine started says the code is intermittent. Normally the ECM disables the injectors to prevent flooding.

Definately intermittent. Car started after about 10 revolutions, normally it takes 3-5 revolutions before catching. Thanks ittfly :cheers:
