If an air pump is designed to dilute the exhaust and it's injection sight is before the o2 sensor, how does the air/fuel mix not suffer when on ?? If the ECM adjusts the mix when air pump is commanded what happens when the air pump system is removed, modified or dysfunctional ??

I don't have 8D but if that is there I would sure like it. The below image is from 87 FSM says in exhaust in open loop and if air flows to exhaust at all times it can cause a rich condition, could you please post the 8D page it would help.

Here's the 8D... I looked in 6E, but didn't see anything. Maybe that parameter simply wasn't added to the definition file for Tunercat or Tunerpro. Even in 8D sometimes one or the other will be missing a parameter.
I believe it is the control valve that opens to the exhaust ports, your 8D stuff is interesting and I don't know what to make of it. I did find this trying to post something for rough unstable idle.
