Default High Flow Fuel Press Regulator

Was wondering if any one has replaced their Fuel Reg, on a 1993 LT1. I have purchase one and it appears that there is a need to remove the fuel rail which has each of the cylinders fuel sensors attached.

Anyone with instruction can post them I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you

No need to remove the fuel rail, just unbolt the fuel pressure regulator.

I emailed too, but the problem is on the 1993 vette that to fuel reg is under the fuel rail making it almost impossible to get to the bolt holding it to the rail..

Thanks for your help..

Sorry for the confusion, I thought the 93/94 fuel rails were the same.

Take the 4 bolts holding the fuel rails to the intak off. Disconnect all of the injector electrical plugs by squeezing the metal bar and pulling. Pull on the rails straight up. That should give it to you in your hands while still being connected to the fuel lines. RELEASE THE PRESSURE IN THE FUEL RAILS BEFORE REMOVING THE REGULATOR!!! You will also want to remove your gas cap to keep the system from creating a vacuum. You release the pressure by using the Schraeder valve on the passenger side fuel rail. (Looks like a tire valve.) Cover it with a rag or paper towel to absorb the gas and press the valve release stem through the rag. It should spurt pretty good and stop rather quickly.

Never do this while the engine is warm. Always keep a fire extinguisher handy, as well as a clean bucket of water (to clean out eyes or hands of fuel). Best if safety glasses are worn as well.
