95 auto lt1. Got everything needed to get the car to start up except for spark plugs. They're all good, but they are not going off. All the power going into the opti is good, and it does nothing. Also, back when we changed the water pump, we did not know about the optispark. Coolant poured on it. I'm sure that was the catalyst for the fail. Just in case it's not, does anyone have any idea what to test other than the opti here? I've been looking around the internet and the reviews of every opti are awful. I'd rather spend less than like 250 trying to get one, but don't know what site to trust. I know 90% of people have had to replace it at some point, so any reviews on a good one?
over 400 is pretty steep... I'll keep it in mind. Are there no other good options?
How many times do you want to change out Chinese optis when they fail or don't work right out of the box? You read the reviews. You can buy several cheap ones and take your chances or buy one good unit. I'm on my original opti but I have a Petris in reserve whenever the factory one decides to die.
