The TPIS setup isn't best. They opted for getting the sensor hot rather than making sure the sensor saw all the cyls. The back of the collector or the collector adaptor will make sure the sensor see's all the cyl's.
When going to long tubes, it is best to go to a heated O2 unit. Just need to wire them in. If you don't drive in the winter or don't live in the cool North, you should be able to do w/o HO2's.
Worse case, the ECM/PCM will go to open loop mode till you give it throttle again.
Either way, no huge neg impact.
