1986 C4 hard start, new fuel pump, new fuel pump relay, new battery
Trying to locate the problem and bought a fuel pressure test kit that turned out not to fit. In the manual it says "not for GM body injection" (probably TBI) and not for others like Bosch. It didn´t say so on AMZN. Seems as if the brass fitting to the Schrader valve does not push down on the valve needle. I tried several brass connectors that came in the box and all the same. When I push in the valve needle with a screwdriver at idle, fuel spills out, but not under a lot of pressure.
RA sells this fuel pressure tester, would it work for the C4s?
I use performance tool # W80595 it fits my 87 schrader. It is a straight fitting and is a little bit of a pain to screw on with the schrader so close to / under the plenum.

One of your 'local' auto parts stores should have one that you can borrow with a deposit. Many have 'new' that they will supply you and if you like it your deposit will likely cover the purchase. If you don't like the use of/or anything different that you might prefer, return it and make a purchase decision based on what you didn't like!

I do this but just return and get my deposit back. It costs me nothing. Dan
