I have read a lot of conflicting information on this over the years. Hopefully someone else can confirm but I believe the HB on these engines is no more than a crank hub/pulley. The balance is provided by the flex plate which is made to factory tolerances and not match balanced to the rotating assembly. Long story short, yes I think they are interchangeable. As I said, hopefully someone with definitive proof can better confirm. Please don’t take my answer as any type of authority on the matter.

The LT-4 damper is fully functional and different from the LT-1.
