Ok here it goes
92 corvette 6 spd performance resource ship full port and polish new ferrera stainless valves for nitrous felpro headgaskets for nitrous ported intake 58mm TB and headers with muffler elems.
I just ordered a NOS sportsman fogger kit i plan on running 100-150 hp shot
Do I need to back the timing off for the nitrous or will it be ok the way it is?
Plus if I do have to back the timing off how much and what is the best way and the cheapest way to do it?
thanks

MSD Digital 6, retard 2 degrees for every 50hp shot (especially with that Performance Resource Chip!). I might even go as far as to tell you to remove the aftermarket chip altogether.
i'd say get rid of the chip.. mine will be coming out when i go to finally install my kit. better safe than sorry. The digital6 box is a nice piece to have but isnt a requirement. Basically, I'd remove the chip and run 1-2 degrees of retard.
The retard function is integrated into the box. You send a 12v source to the retard activation wire and it in turn retards the signal it is sending to the coil.
I am running a MSD-6AL and a MSD Timing Control box (8560?). Both of those combined cost more than the Digital 6 but I bought them long before the D6 came out. IMO, the best option is the D6.

I just did the opposite - had nothing but trouble with the Digital 6. Went through three of them. MSD was responsive and gave me credit on the other equipment. :skep:
