Default Oil catch can on supercharged

For the folk that are supercharged-do you run oil catch cans? I've seen oil in the valve cover breather to the air filter so I'm seriously thinking it could use catch cans. If anyone has put them in, where did you fit them in? Not much space left under the hood! I was considering one for each valve cover-one for the PCV along with the other vent to air filter. I do have to deal with smog so it will have to be non-vented cans. Thanks for any ideas on placement.

i had one plumbed in between my PCV valve and the intake manifold vacuum

I also had a check valve on it (important) to keep from pressurizing the crankcase during boost.

The goal of that simple one-can setup was to prevent 'oily blowby' from gunking up my intake and valves that would get thru the moment I let off the gas (From boost).

I would get some oil out my open breathers, but nothing to be alarmed about.

My next setup. I'll prob plumb something off the valve cover also to draw a suction under boosted operation for better ring / seal.
That will also eliminate oil coming out my breather and making a mess. (The oil from the breather would also go into the catch can)

I'm not boosted but you could drive a truck through my ring gaps because of all the nitrous. I originally had a cheap universal auto parts store PCV valve in the valve cover and a open breather on the other side. Under hard throttle oily mist would pour out of the breather right onto the header. So I changed the system around and am now using a way higher flowing PCV and a cheap catch can full of steel wool. It works great. Even has a little dip stick.

If you look on the driver's side of my upper radiator shroud you can see the bracket I riveted to the fiberglass for the catch can. The can is aluminum so it doesn't weigh much. Honestly it works great for all the more it costs.

Thanks for the responses. I'll start shopping for catch cans that I can squeeze in up by the radiator. I'm leaning to one each side. Veering off a bit-Phobos84-what are your headlights?

I just put those in. I can't remember the brand. I saw a thread here a while ago about an Amazon LED bulb that was cheap and every one here seemed to like so I got them. I put those and the DDM tuning HID fog lights in at the same time this winter. I haven't had it out yet for the year so I can't say how well they work personally. I'll see if I can find that old thread and a brand

I just looked it up. Those are the HWStar H6054 headlights. The thread I read about them on was this one.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-install.html

I think they were under $100 shipped. Seem close to the factory weight too. In my garage they are way brighter than stock. But I don't know how they are on the street yet.

I had the same problem before I installed the catch can.
Oil came out of the dipstick and the valve cover also leaked.

This is how I installed it myself and there have been no more leaks.
Of course I don't have smog devices anymore.

I installed the catch can next to the fan.
