AC Compressor Turns off when AC is on.
My 96 base model corvette has a strange issue. The compressor is always running unless I turn on the ac. Which it then turns off. I have tried jumping the low pressure switch to turn it on, which works when the ac is off but if it is on then the compressor will not engage.

Thats odd, because I'm pretty sure the clutch power goes through the low pressure switch and the high pressure switch. I was thinking that maybe the compressor is locked up and when the clutch is engaged it stops the pulley.
