Hey everybody I’m new to the forum and I recently bought an 87 corvette. I just wanted to see if anyone had any tips or advice regarding vacuum lines. I recently replaced my IAC valve and broke some vacuum lines. I was able to fix most of it but a piece broke off right at a rubber connector piece underneath the intake manifold. Would it be best to take off the whole intake manifold for easier access and would it best to cut through the rubber piece to access more of line? Thanks for the help! Vacuum line broken right at the rubber piece
With a pair of small needle nose pliers you can usually get on each side (inside & outside) between the rubber and twist and tug and get broken piece out and hopefully you can just slide in the existing piece in and be ok. If not get an appropriate hose splice and make do with a bit of hose to make up difference

Does the rubber splitter just pull off? It's hard to see where it connects to under there, not sure where it goes to. Would it still be best to take off the intake manifold to access it better?
If you carefully pry at the base were it connects it will pull away from the EGR Solenoid no need for taking apart things
Here's a link so you know what it looks like apart
