Default Can't read my PROM.

I have a 165 ECM with a Hypertech PROM.
T.Cat says use the $32 file but when I do all the data is "outta whack".
Like maximum advance is 10,340 degrees.
Fuel cutoff is 25 mph.

I've read a lot of chips but this one seems pretty strange.
HELP!!
What am I doing wrong??

I got it boys and girls.

It was a 128. I read it in as a 256.....nothing was in the correct location.
All is right with the world, now.

I knew that was gonna be the problem, however, I did not read the thread till now.

Another bit of information along those lines....

When you program the 256 bins you have to double the bin up to program correctly. this in turn causes problems when you read the bin back into the programmer and try to view it in Tunercat.

In order to get around this, set the device to a 128 setting instead of the 256 you programmed it with and it will only pull the 16K and you can view it in Tunercat then
