FX3 Actuator Rebuild Procedure?
Has anyone ever rebuilt the FX3 actuators themselves and replaced the gears with metal ones like those sold by Zip Corvette? Does anyone have a write-up for this? I'm working on somewhat of a budget restoration of a 1990 and trying to do as much of the work myself as possible. As much as I would love to send them off to Captain Z, it's currently $165.00 x 4 plus shipping which is just not affordable for me.

If the top small gear is broken, very easy to buy them with the micro pin that holds them in place. Wazoo did mine years ago and think I got the part from Captain Z. Takes no time, just good eyes and steady hand......sounds like a job for Yun during our next maintenance day!
