I’m struggling to do a burnout in my 1989 corvette while doing a burnout it won’t go past 1900 rpm’s but when I let off the brake it jumps and moves past 1900 rpm’s any thoughts on this ?

Try pedal to the metal and then brake the milisecond you feel the tires spinning. Empty flat area ofc
[QUOTE=64Scout;1607729342]Get the tires wet first. If it still doesn't do it, put a line lock in. If that doesn't work, big block swap it[/QUOTE
try telling that last part to my wallet
Any chance your throttle linkage is sticking and not allowing full throttle?
honestly yes there is a chance I have a small kink in the line that I have straightened to the best of my ability. How ever i literally put all of my weight on the gas to get it down as far as it would go and nothing changed.
