TunerPro RT 1989 corvette

I bought an OBD1 to usb from https://obd2allinone.com/products/aldlobd2u.asp I have been experiencing problems using TunerPro i get the cable to connect tot the car and continue to get allot of Data Errors when attempting to data log. I have the correct datastream loaded and am not sure what the problem could be. Could this be a bad ecm? In my log all of my numbers are inaccurate (including my rmps which wernt even close to right). Any suggestions?

$6E adx ? This is a 12 pin connector? You’re in 10k while connecting?
have you downloaded the newest version of tp just released?

I had this happed once on a 1227165. Car ran fine but I called Moats back when people would pickup the phone and they said try a diffrent ECM. Sure enough the replacement ECM worked fine with RT.
