84 Carb swap electrical
So, I have an 84 that I’m in the process of carb swapping. The throttle bodied and intake manifold were both cracked and I had the carb laying around.
But my question is now that the fuel injectors and computer controlled distributor are gone is there any thing I still need the ecm for or can i remove it and the wiring harness, and put back a couple wires for lights and sensors?
Part of my reason for wanting to do this is I have a serious battery draw issue. It will drain the battery in about 2 hours.
Ps It’s an automatic if that changes anything
