The clutch went out at the beginning of the year and I just finished up doing all the work on it to get it running again. I replaced the clutch master cylinder while I was at, however the car won't even try to crank. The voltage drops when trying, but not even a single click.
I jumped the gun and replaced the starter, so that's not the problem. There was gasket material which was ripped off from the spacer for the clutch master cylinder when replacing it. Would this microscopic difference in the relative distance of the master cylinder to the clutch pedal cause an issue with the safety switch, or am I barking up the wrong tree?
