car cransk wont start
So my 89 C4 has developed the notorious will crank but wont start syndrome.
I have replaced the following in an attempt to get this lovely car working. It STRUGGLES TO START COLD OR HOT.
When it does CHOOSE to start it runs nicely and idles at between 7-800 rpms evenly.
I have replaced the
distributor cap
sparkplugs x8
new wires
fuel pressure regulator
fuel injectors x8 Bosch III 22LBS
waterpump
The Fuel pump is working and holds pressure at about 40 psi
the fuel pump primes for 2 seconds ...
and just wont start with out trying sometimes 10 times cranking before she fires if at all. .
i have had the odd back fire at start up , but runs nice when she gets going.
run out of options...
help is needed before I sell the car as I am not enjoying its use .
