I was wondering if it is possible to swap the L98 intake onto the LT1 or LT4, and what would the pros and cons of doing that be. Looking for low end torque, the L98 intake looks better for that, but is it?

That would be a first, for sure.
The ports match, the china wall will seal. I believe the water passages may be different.
I assume you are plugging the hole for the standard distributor and keeping the Opti. Your current throttle body should bolt right in. However, I'm not sure about the brackets for the cables and whether they would be at a really odd angle, since the TPI is taller.

Mini ram. Edelbrock pro-flo xt will work with some mods to tb flange. different torque curve. LT1 doesn't have distributer
Not going to happen, if you want to increase the low end grunt feel, change the rear gearing. It'll rev into the power band quicker and will feel faster off the line. Similarly you can change the TC (if automatic) to a 2400 stall.
drill the bolt holes on the gen1 intake using the LT1 gaskets there is not water through the intake on gen 2 small blocks your only sealing air, block the distributor hole

Just realized there is indeed no water going through the LT1 intake.
I hope the OP goes through with this.

Aren't L31 vortec heads the closest to LT1 heads? And I'm pretty sure someone has mated TPI to L31 heads. Only difference really would be the compression ratio.
I swear I read long ago that the L31 heads are basically iron Gen 1 LT1 heads, if that makes sense. Some company made a Vortec/L31 lower for the TPI too...probably Edelbrock or Accel.

Itll probably be a few years but my plan is to actually use an L98 instead of swapping the intake. I want to put it in an off-road vehicle so it needs the low end torque.

Just to be fair, there was (is) a rare version of the L98's long tube intake that was made for the LT1 engine. (Don't have stats on how many were made. Or, I think, rare FFI long tube intakes. But maybe they never actually made -- tho planned -- the later).
