Default Head/Rebuild options on a budget

I have a 1986L with the non-113 aluminum heads that I need a new one of, but I figured since if I even can find a used Al head, it is the 113s, I thought I'd get a pair of em used, have them machined and looked thru with a top end rebuild and replace my heads. But I have found some new heads that would bolt on. Half of my valvetrain is new and obviously in new condition, but they have different/better flow and combustion chamber specs. I was looking at the Jegs part #555-514068, and the biggest difference I noticed immediately (besides the bigger runners, which shouldn't be too much of an issue if my cam and intake are stock, right?) was that the combustion chamber is 68cc, rather than my stock 58cc. Does that make a huge difference in what I need to buy? I am just looking to get this car running not looking for crazy power gains, I do need to rebuild the bottom end but I do not know if I need to bore out my cylinder walls yet, if I do (lets say to 383) would that effect my head choice? Does it matter what pistons I get as long as they are the right size and the indented style for the valves?

If you could not tell, I am a bit new to in-engine performance knowledge and want to do this right the first time without breaking the bank or my other components with too much power.

Thanks

How To Hotrod the Small Block Chevy by Bill Fisher and a few other guys would be a great book for you to read. Would explain performance mods and give you ideas on what you might do to your 86.
