Cannot shift 6-speed into gear
I backed my 1993 6-speed out of the garage. It made a strange sound and acted funny (not in a humorous way). Now it will not go into any gear. The strange thing is if I push in and hold the stick in the first gear position it rock forward an inch, or so. I have 60,000 miles on it (original owner).
I assume that is either the clutch or linkage. Before I flatbed it to a local mechanic I thought I should get available advice from the Forum.

If the Clutch feels normal has it probably has fluid in it. When the engine if off will it shift into any gears ? If so then put it in gear and depress the Clutch and see if the car rolls either on a incline or with somebody pushing.
