Crank bolt won’t go in HELP
Got a stock ‘86 and after pulling my crank sprocket my crank bolt won’t go in anymore!
The threads look okay it may just be the first couple not allowing it to go in, how do I remedy this?

Did the puller that you used have a point to protect the threads? See if you can find a 7/16-20 clean up tap. Or you can grind a sacrificial bolt to make a clean up tap. Grind a point on to the bolt, taper the first few threads a little. Then try to start it carefully.
