Default Newer style window regulator

I'm in the middle installing the newer style window regulators in my early 86. The new regulator came with these parts..are these needed? I dont see where these would be used?

The black rubber is a window bed it goes in the bottom of the door in a oblong hole near the front 1/3rd of door bottom the window rests on it so it doesn't rattle when down or get beaten when door is slammed.
The nut is a glass mount if I remember correctly it might be shorter then the other one near regulator to clear it or get snagged

Do you remember which glass mount gets swapped out. Im guessing the front one, not the two to the rear? Ive been cycling my window and dont see it binding. I still have the aluminum panel off thou.

I installed the newer style regulators in my early 86 and used the original 86 glass mounts. Never had any problems.

I think by the time the later 86 rolled out they kind of standardized and had the shorter mount, it was probably for the 84/85 I remember cutting the old mounts because it was to long
