Default What do these wires go to?

I have two wires at the front of my engine bay in front of the radiator one is solid black the other is solid yellow. They meet at a male 2 pin connector. And I can’t seem to determine where it is supposed to go. Trying to attach a photo but having difficulty. Any idea where this goes?
is it an option not equipped on my car like an auxiliary fan in front of the radiator?

Just to nail it down some more what year is the car, now what suspect possibly the ambient temperature sensor. Do you have the C68 automatic AC with an out side temp

Year of car and specs of car would help.

Do you have a push button AC control or a slide.
This is what the sensor looks like it's hidden inside the air box in front of radiator well out front

I have a slide. I did notice a rubber plug in the shroud not too far from the wires, is this where the sensor should go?

Yes
I'm not sure if the Manual AC uses the sensor for other purposes so you might not have one

Black and yellow goes to your ECM Coolant Temp Sensor. Located at the front of your inlet manifold. There are 2 screw in sensors there, the other is the Thermo Time switch.

I thought the only ecm coolant temp sensor was the one on the intake manifold right next to the thermostat? These wires will definitely not reach that far and that already is plugged in.
