Default Roller Rockers calibration

Please help me with this ;

I recently took out valve covers to install new gaskets on intake manifold

I want to check roller rockers calibration

I saw some youtube videos

I want to try the I.C.E method,

intake start to close set the exhaust
exhaust start to open set the intake

roller lifters are oem ( 1 turn preload)
roller rockers I dont remember brand but are stainless self aligning 1.6
Competition Cams
Model Number .05" Duration 1.5:1 Lift 1.6:1 Lift Lobe Sep.
08-302-8 210/220 .480/.480 .512/.512 112deg
I dont remeber the length of pushrods but was replaced

any suggestion or advice ?

The method you just described should work. Is the engine making any ticking noise that would suggest that the lifter preload needs adjusting? If not, you might want to just leave it alone.

FWIW, here's the method I use:
There's a lot of tolerance when setting hydraulic lifter preload as compared to the thousandths of an inch required for solid lifters. And because of this, there's more leeway in the method used. Pull all the spark plugs. Set the #1 cylinder at TDC on compression and adjust preload on both valves for that cylinder. I mark the top of the crank pulley with blue tape. Then I crank the engine over 90 degrees and follow the firing order to the next cylinder, which is 8, and adjust those valves. I keep following this procedure until all the cylinders are done.

What I like about this method is that it requires the minimum amount of hand cranking the engine which is a PIA on the C4. It's also very easy to keep track of which valves have been adjusted.

This is exactly what I do. Keep it simple.

To hand crank the engine I usually use the alternator pulley nut and it gives a lot of mechanical advantage because of the small pulley and it is easy to access.
For this to work you have to keep the belt from slipping. On the belt tensioner there is a square hole used to relese the tensioner when changing belts. Use a breaker bar, or ratchet, and a tie down strap to increase belt sension until belt stops slipping.
