Stuck harmonic balancer
Need a little help with a harmonic balancer that won't come off. Already twisted-off the center screw-bolt in the puller....got another one. Now what can I do to get this thing off. I'm a little afraid of using heat in this area but.......

wow, did I read correctly that you stripped/broke the puller bolt? Are you using the little pointed cap that goes inbetween the puller bolt and the crank snout? (if not, that can attribute to a tremendous amount of friction). I agree in being hessitant with the torch, but shoot a crapload of WD40 or other penetrant and let it sit for a while. Try and hit it from both sides as well, and look for obstructions/what could keep it from popping off... I know there shouldn't be anything there, but you shouldn't be breaking pullers either.
After that, give the new puller a shot at it, and if that doesn't work then I would heat up the damper with a torch (avoiding the crank snout AMAP, and after checking for gas leaks.... )
