Any easy techniques to changing the wires on a '92' or am I in for a long day? Drivers side looks like hell to get to. -Bob :smash:

the drivers side wheel well has a removable plastic panel which will give you better access to the plugs. Also, remove one of the black braces which is in the way. this wiill save you alot of time and frustration. For the first two plugs on the drivers side, use a long extension and a plug socket which has a swivel head(or an adapter with a swivel head). Hope this will ease the pain!!

Just unbolt the ASR and lay it up out of the way. Take off the plastic dust shield and access shouldn't be much of a problem any longer to the plugs.

Getting to the Opti is another issue. I took off the serp belt (time to change it anyways), unbolted the alternator and ac compressor. After that, it was easy to undo and route everything the correct way.

Others have other ways of doing it too...do this, do it as others have, or find your own....the joy of LT1's.
