Anyone tried/using the sensa-trac shocks? Are they worth a darn? I'm sure they're not in the same league as Bilsteins or Konis but for a hundred bucks a set with a lifetime replacement warranty, they might be worth a shot. Can always get the Bilsteins rebuilt later.
I have them on my car only because the stock ones were completely shot and after buying new tires I just didn't have the funds available to get the Bilsteins. They are ok for cruising around town, but I would not want to race with them. I will upgrade them later though. But yeah, for $93.00 they work just fine, just don't expect too much out of them.
O'reillys, lifetime replacement. I asked the counter girl " how do you decide when they're worn out?" she said bring them back whenever you think they need to be replaced.
I have them on my car. They ride fine but as stated earlier I wouldn't and don't expect them to perform in an extreme environment like bilsteins or konis. But for cruising and spirited driving on the street I am satisfied.
I've got them on all 4 corners of my car. If you aren't going to do any serious autoX then I would suggest them. If your car is a daily or driven alot I would definitely suggest them. They have a lifetime replacement at O'Rielly's and I think Napa(not sure on Napa though).
You can get cheap Monroe or you can get good ones. The cheaper ones are just that... cheap. If you get the good ones they are perfectly fine for spirited everyday driving. I for one don't see the point in spending the extra money on shocks if you don't need it for racing. Just my $.02.
