Looking for unobtanium part
Need a vent kit for a 95 lt1 base corvette. I can't believe they don't sell the kit separately through the major distributors. They'll gladly sell it with the $800 optispark though. Every where I look they're out of stock. I just need the check valve and filter/restrictor. They have to be available somewhere. And help would be fantastic.

Petris has them but out of stock, I have a brand new gm optispark with msd cap and rotor. Msd and accel come with the vent when you buy the new optispark but won't sell the vent kit. Just need to know the size of check valve with restrictor size then I can get the parts from local auto parts. I have a supercharger on my engine and they don't like vacuum leaks. I had the vent but lost it. Just like my hair and my mind. 😄 I'm wondering if I ran one hose from the distributor to the air filter tube before it gets to the MAF if the air rushing past the tube would create enough siphon action (vacuum) to keep the air moving in the distributor. And just run the other hose to the atmosphere protected from water of course. If anyone has info please jump in.
