I've had this on here before but I want to be safe on what size injectors to use with my motor. I can't remember the site that lets you plug numbers in and it calculates it for you. Plus if other forum memebers would what are their suggestions too. I have been thinking of 30# but help me decide. The motor is a 383 stroker with the heads ported, polished intake and heads matched, TB is a 58MM. Would the 30's be too much or just right? Will be spraying down the road too.
Here's a formula: LB/HR(Fuel injector)=(Max Hp x BSFC)/ number of cylinders
Brake specific fuel consumption will probably be .45 to .50. Here's a little guess work. Say you make 450hp with a bsfc of .50, that would equal a 28.125 lb injector. So if you think you will make around 450 hp, a 30 lb injector would work fine. Raising fuel presure above 43.5 will equal a bigger injector. Most injectors are rated at 43.5
